萃取方式對玫瑰果成分的影響 / Influence of process to extract rosehip oil

與溶劑萃取法相比,經由冷壓萃取,玫瑰果油可以保留更多的有用物質。

維生素A是組織修復不可或缺的物質,
而玫瑰果油含有維A酸,一種維生素A生成的前驅物質,因此,玫瑰果油在皮膚保養上有其特長,也素有盛名。
但,乾燥玫瑰果的萃油率很低。
為了提高萃油率,常使用溶劑幫助萃油。
但,使用溶劑的生產方式也要求比較高的工作溫度,因此,油品中的成分比較容易變質。
在這樣的情況下,冷壓(低於40度C)輔以酵素的萃取方式越來越常被使用,這個方式既可以避開高溫的要求,也同時增加萃油率。

這篇研究報告比較了冷壓,冷壓輔以酵素與使用溶劑這三種萃取方式製造的玫瑰果油的成分,
分析結果顯示,不論是否輔以酵素,使用冷壓方式萃取的玫瑰果油含有比較多的游離脂肪酸(FFA,4.6倍)與過氧化物質(PV,4.4~3.3倍)。
根據網路資訊,FFA與PV對於皮膚的修復,皆是有正面幫助的物質。

Through cold pressing, we could get more therapeutic constituents in resehip oil.

Oil of rosehip (Rosa affinis rubiginosa L.) seed is famous in application of skin care.
It contains tretinoin, which is precursor of vitamin A, and the vitamin A is responsible for restoring and rebuilding tissue.
On dry basis, oil yield of rosehip seeds is low.
Therefore, process with organic solvents is often used.
Meanwhile, it requires higher temperature and is with concern to damage useful component.
In the situation, cold pressing (under 40 degree C) with enzyme is introduced to enhance oil yield and keep ingredients away from injury.

The paper comapres constituents in oils through cold pressing and organic solvent.
Analysis result shows that oil by cold pressing, both with and without enzyme has more FFA (free fatty acid, 4.6 times) and PV (peroxide Value, 4.4~3.3 times).
And based on information in web, both FFA and PV are helpful in therapeutic application.
